Peugeot 205 Club

Hi guys,

I will present my beloved Peugeot 205 GTI from 1991 , it started his life as a 1.9 8v.



This is the first picture I took, first time I saw the car before I bought it. I will try to present here the amount of work which has been done on the car for the past 1 year. Currently car is powered by XU10J4RS engine from Xsara VTS 2.0

It is a very nice 205GTi and I would like to see the car live. More photos please.
Have You still that red GTI?

As soon as I got the car, I wanted to get rid of the neglected leather seats. I've done a very good deal, basicly I sold the old leather seats for the price of beautiful red stitched GTI half leather seats.

My red GTI has been sold , it was a beautiful car.

At some stage I've decided that this time I will pick XU10J4 RS engine for my next conversion. This engine is the best thing you can possibly put into 205 engine bay, this should be done already by Peugeot when designing this car. 16V is the only thing 205 is missing.

I manage to get 2002 , 60 000km , Xsara VTS 2.0 , it's an English car but it was already in Poland by the time I bought it.



Engine has been removed and we've started to prepare the parts needed for the swap.

Sorry for not giving any updates, It's been very busy time for me recently. We are still working on the car, trying to sort out minor difficulties and faults.

Before I purchased Xsara, I had bunch of parts ready to put on the car. I've decided car will be used on 309 GTI suspention setup. I got 309 GTI wishbones and thicker anti roll bar. Wishbones will give me small negative camber and hopefully that will keep it more precise and furious in the corners



Driveshafts are from 309 GTI and I got them professionaly refurbished by Polish well know company ( http://www.motomax.pl )




The pic went for adjustable Kayaba AGX with - 40 mm springs and 306 gti6 rear shocks.
