This time a car i bought a couple of weeks ago by chance, actually with the help of a friend from the polish 205 club. It was out for sale for exactly 1h and 17 minutes before i made the call and bought it unseen via the telephone.

Griffe N° 1103 / 1652
-1991, production date 6th november 1990.
-130bhp
-abs
-power steering
-leather interior

This one is unfortunately not in the same good shape as my Cti but this will change in time. Plan to drive the car to Poland at the end of June for a complete overhaul to restore it back to it's former glory.

welcome. Griffe is the best :m: But I´m thinking the engine is XU9JAZ 112hp. AFM is definitely motornic ;-)

I'm thinking in november all Griffes left the factory with the 130bhp engine and this is sure information and not spekulation.

My engine serial number 10CW6L003245

-130bhp 10CW6L + 7 digits

-122bhp 10CW6U + 7 digits

French version: VF3 20CD62 + 8 digits
Export version: VF3 20CDK2 + 8 digits

if you have 130bhp, there is no oxygen sensor and catalic convertor. Distributor don´t have vacum advance and ECU is 2 row.. It´s strange

Well the car is actually "freed" from emission control here in Sweden:) Either way nobody said it has actually got 130bhp, some ponnies have probably left the stables long time ago. The previous owner did overhaul the head a couple of months ago but the engine will be stripped down again and looked over and then i will know what kind of cocktail i have.

According to what I see in the picture, I would say that it is 1.9 88 kilowatts in serial order. it is normal that after so many years already hasnt as many HP as the new.

It is in the car catalyst and lambda sensor ??

If it would have a catalyst converter do you think it wood be freed from emission control?

suspention is great, but cost more than i payed for griffe :fran: dimma rims are too wide vith standart gti bodykit :myslim: It´s your car, so you are the boss :up:

Right now Im waiting for GHA kit I have ordered. Im really courious about it. And it costs (+SKF top mounts) like my whole GTi before few years :smich:

Well if you use 4x front dimmas then it will be fine. I found 4 front dimmas here in Sweden last year bought them for a friend in Poland and they fit just fine on a standard GTI/CTI.

Emission control in Sweden must be one of the most rigoristic in the world and i would say MOT in general.

Gaz have a groupbuy at the moment so the suspention is affordable. This was ment for my CTI but we will se which car will get it in the end.

I (we) know. Groupbuy is available here too. (I bought 'em in this "discount") but it is still the same money as my GTi costs. :fran:
